Tübingen
Tübingen, located in southwestern Germany, is a university town like no other: The city has some 85,000 inhabitants. 35,000 are engaged in research, teaching, or studying. Tübingen’s medieval old town brings history to life. At the same time, many students and researchers from across Germany and around the world give Tübingen an open, cosmopolitan atmosphere. The cafés, restaurants, and shops in town invite you to spend time in these picturesque surroundings. From this town on the Neckar River there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities - The Black Forest and the Swabian Jura hills are not far away.

Rooms are available at the IBIS Styles Hotel Tübingen next to the central station. A room costs 129 Euros per night and includes free breakfast. Please refer to the hotel directly via email h9841@accor.com or phone +49 7071 75880.
Some rooms are still available at the University Guest House Tübingen (Lessingweg 3, 72076 Tübingen). A single room costs 53 Euros and a double room for single use costs 65 Euros. Breakfast is

How to get around in Tübingen?
Conference rooms
The conference will take place in the building at Wilhelmstraße 19 in Tübingen. The rooms allow for a presentation via laptop. If you need technical assistance or specific equipment, please contact us before the conference.

How to get to Tübingen
Tübingen serves as a railway junction with connections to Stuttgart, the Black Forest, the Swabian Alb and the region of Lake Constance. From Stuttgart central station it takes just 55 minutes to the centre of Tübingen.
From Stuttgart airport by car via the main road B27 in 25 minutes to the centre of Tübingen, or by airport shuttle (bus), „Airport Sprinter“ No. 828, in 50 minutes to Tübingen's bus terminal. The bus runs hourly from the central bus stop in front of Terminal 1 of the arrival section.
From the motorway A8 (München-Stuttgart) via the main road B27 in 30 minutes; from the motorway A81 (Singen-Heilbronn) via the main road B28 in 25 minutes. Tübingen contains a green low emission zone, where environmental badges (green stickers) are obligatory for every vehicle. This measure was taken to lower the load of particulate matter.
